Professional Architectural 3D Printing & Scale Models

Eolas Prints turns architectural designs into precise, presentation-ready physical scale models. We work with architects, property developers and planning teams across Spain and the wider EU, converting BIM and CAD files into clean, accurate models of housing developments, apartment buildings, masterplans and individual residences. A well-made model does what a render cannot: it lets a client, an investor or a planning committee hold the whole scheme in their hands and understand it in seconds.
Working from our ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified facility in Cantabria, northern Spain, we combine large-format 3D printing with careful finishing to produce models that stand up to close inspection — and we ship them safely across Spain and Europe.
From BIM and CAD to a physical model
Most projects begin as a Revit, ArchiCAD, SketchUp or Rhino model. Our job is to translate that digital geometry into a clean, watertight, printable form at the right scale — simplifying detail that won't survive scale reduction, preserving the proportions and facade articulation that define the building, and preparing each part for an accurate print. You send the file; we handle the geometry preparation, printing, finishing and assembly, and deliver a finished model ready to present.

Built on a large-format printer — fewer seams, bigger blocks
Large developments are where most model makers struggle: a standard desktop printer forces big buildings to be sliced into many small pieces, then glued and filled, which is slow and leaves visible joins. We print on a large-format machine with an 800 × 800 × 1000 mm build volume, so entire apartment blocks and large site sections come off the bed in far fewer pieces. The result is a cleaner model, stronger assemblies and a faster turnaround on exactly the housing-development and masterplan work that benefits most.
Choosing the right scale
The right scale depends on what the model needs to communicate. As a guide: 1:50 to 1:100 suits individual buildings and detailed presentation models where facades, balconies and interiors matter; 1:200 to 1:500 suits housing developments, apartment complexes and masterplans, balancing readable detail with a sensible overall size; and larger site and urban-context models go further still. We help you choose the scale that fits your purpose, your audience and your budget — and we build to it accurately, verifying critical dimensions as we go.
A recent project: a luxury Costa del Sol development
A good example of our work is a scale model of a luxury residential development on the Costa del Sol — a hillside scheme of multiple penthouse-style apartment buildings, each with generous terraces, private terrace pools, rooftop garden levels and landscaped grounds stepping down a sloped site. We printed the buildings block by block in clean white, with multi-colour landscaping (green roof gardens and grounds, blue terrace pools) to bring the scheme to life, and fine printed balustrades and stairs that read clearly at scale. Throughout the build we verified dimensions with calipers to keep every block true to the architect's drawings.

What we model
Our models support every stage of a development, including: housing developments and apartment complexes for sales suites and investor presentations; masterplans and site models showing a scheme in its landscape and street context; massing and concept models for early design review and planning submissions; and detailed presentation models with facades, terraces, pools and landscaping for marketing and show-home environments. Whether you need a single building or a multi-block development, we match the level of detail to the job.

Why developers and architects choose Eolas Prints

We are a digital-fabrication studio, not a hobby print shop. Models are produced in-house under ISO 9001 (quality) and ISO 14001 (environmental) certified processes, printed on professional large-format equipment, finished by hand where it counts, and dispatched securely across Spain and the EU. We speak your CAD workflow, we keep critical dimensions accurate, and we understand the pressure of design programmes, planning deadlines and sales launches. Based in Cantabria, we serve clients throughout Spain — from local developers to national practices — and ship internationally.

Frequently asked questions
What file formats do you accept?
We work from the formats architects already use — Revit (RVT), IFC, DWG, SKP, 3DM (Rhino), STL and OBJ. Send us your native model or an export and we'll handle the geometry preparation for printing.
What scales do you offer?
Anything the project needs. Individual buildings are typically 1:50 to 1:100; housing developments, apartment complexes and masterplans usually sit between 1:200 and 1:500. We'll advise the best scale for your purpose, audience and budget.
Do you ship across Spain and the EU?
Yes. We dispatch finished models securely from our facility in Cantabria, Spain, throughout Spain and the European Union, and can ship internationally on request.
How long does a model take?
Turnaround depends on size, scale and finish. After we see your file we give a firm timeline — and our large-format printing keeps multi-block developments to far fewer parts, which shortens both printing and assembly.
