Engineering & Composite Filament

Engineering and composite 3D printing filaments are for parts that have to perform mechanically — brackets, jigs, fixtures, housings, drone and RC components, and end-use functional parts under real load. This collection brings together the tougher, stiffer and reinforced materials that go beyond everyday printing.

Engineering polymers like ABS and ASA offer impact resistance, heat tolerance and durability for working parts, while composite filaments — such as carbon-fibre and glass-fibre reinforced grades — add remarkable stiffness and dimensional stability at low weight. Reinforced composites are the materials of choice when a part must stay rigid under stress without adding bulk. A note for composite printing: abrasive carbon and glass fibres require a hardened steel nozzle, which we can supply alongside the filament.

Our own engineering filaments are manufactured in Spain by Eolas Prints under ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards, and we stock specialist composite grades from Prusament for the most demanding applications. For functional parts that need to survive, start with the right material here — and ask us if you need help choosing.
