The xTool F2 is a portable dual laser engraver combining a 15W diode laser and a 5W infrared laser in a compact galvo system. The combination covers the two most common laser processing needs in one machine: the diode laser handles organic materials (wood, leather, acrylic, fabric), while the infrared laser marks metals, glass, ceramics, and heat-sensitive plastics. At 6,000 mm/s engraving speed, the F2 processes batches fast enough for small business production use.

15W Diode Laser

The 15W blue diode laser (455nm) cuts and engraves organic materials:

• Cutting: Basswood up to 15mm, MDF up to 8mm, acrylic up to 10mm, leather, paper, cardboard, fabric
• Engraving: Wood, bamboo, leather, acrylic, cork, rubber, anodised aluminium, painted surfaces

5W Infrared Laser

The 5W IR laser (1064nm) marks materials the diode laser cannot:

• Stainless steel and aluminium (including uncoated)
• Glass and crystal
• Ceramic and porcelain tiles
• Coated metals
• Technical plastics and silicone
• Stone and marble

Switching between lasers is done in software — no module changes required.

400 × 400 mm Work Area

With a 400 × 400mm work area, the F2 handles larger items than the compact F1 (115 × 115mm) and the F1 Ultra (115 × 115mm). Full A3 sheets, larger leather pieces, and long format engravings fit within the working area without repositioning.
