How to import Eolas Prints profiles into Orca-Flashforge

Flash Studio (Orca-Flashforge) logo

Importing takes about a minute and only needs to be done once per computer.

  1. Download the Eolas Prints profile pack (.zip). You do not need to unzip it.
  2. Open Orca-Flashforge (Flash Studio) and select your Flashforge printer.
  3. Go to File → Import → Import Configs…, select the .zip file and click Open.
  4. Confirm the import message. If you are updating an older pack, choose to overwrite the existing presets.
  5. Open the Filament dropdown: the profiles appear under User presets as Eolas Prints PLA Premium, Eolas Prints PETG and so on. Pick one for each extruder or IFS slot and slice.

Which Flashforge printers are supported?

The presets are not tied to a printer model, so they appear for every Flashforge machine in Orca-Flashforge: Adventurer 5M and 5M Pro, AD5X with IFS multi-colour, Adventurer A5, Adventurer 3 series, Creator 5 and Creator 5 Pro, Guider 3 Ultra, Guider 4 / 4 Pro and Guider 2s. They work with 0.25 to 0.8 mm nozzles; the maximum flow values are set for a 0.4 mm nozzle. Choosing a printer? See our Flashforge buyer’s guide.

Troubleshooting

  • Nothing imported: make sure you chose Import Configs (not Import 3MF/STL) and selected the .zip or the .json files.
  • Profiles not in the dropdown: scroll to the User presets section of the Filament list, or type Eolas in its search box.
  • Older Orca-Flashforge: update to the latest Flash Studio / Orca-Flashforge from flashforge.com, then import again.
  • Still stuck? Email support@eolasprints.com with your slicer version and printer model.

Tips for printing Eolas Prints filaments on Flashforge printers

  • Calibrate once per material: run the flow rate and pressure advance tests from the Calibration menu – our Orca-Flashforge calibration guide walks through each one.
  • AD5X and IFS: assign an Eolas Prints preset to each IFS slot. Feed flexible TPU 93A and D53 directly instead of through the IFS.
  • ABS and ASA: print them in an enclosed machine such as the Adventurer 5M Pro, Creator 5 Pro or Guider series to avoid warping.
  • Save your tweaks: if you change a setting, save it as a new preset so a future re-import does not overwrite it.

Other slicers

Using OrcaSlicer itself? The Eolas Prints profiles are built into OrcaSlicer, so no download is needed. We also have guides for Bambu Studio and PrusaSlicer. Buying a Flashforge? Here is why to buy from an authorised distributor.

Frequently asked questions

Does Orca-Flashforge include Eolas Prints profiles?

Not built in. Download our free pack of 18 presets and import it with File → Import → Import Configs. OrcaSlicer 2.3.2 and newer include the same profiles built in.

Are Orca-Flashforge and Flash Studio the same slicer?

Yes. Flash Studio is the current name of Flashforge's OrcaSlicer-based desktop slicer, previously called Orca-Flashforge. The Eolas Prints pack works in both.

How do I import the profiles?

Open File → Import → Import Configs, select the downloaded .zip and click Open. The 18 presets appear under User presets in the Filament list.

Which Flashforge printers can use the profiles?

All Flashforge printers in the slicer, including the Adventurer 5M, 5M Pro, AD5X, A5, Creator 5, Creator 5 Pro and Guider series.

Do the profiles work with the AD5X IFS?

Yes. Assign an Eolas Prints preset to each IFS slot. Feed flexible TPU directly rather than through the IFS.

How do I update the profiles?

Download the latest pack from this page and import it again, choosing to overwrite the existing presets.

Can I use the pack in ElegooSlicer or OrcaSlicer?

There is no need: OrcaSlicer 2.3.2+ and ElegooSlicer 1.5+ already include the Eolas Prints profiles built in.
