Description
Prusa CORE One L+ INDX
The 27-litre CORE One L+, with a 60 °C chamber and the Bondtech INDX toolchanger: up to eight materials in parts up to 33 cm tall.
The Prusa CORE One L+ INDX is Prusa's large enclosed CoreXY printer with the Bondtech INDX toolchanger installed at the factory. It combines a 298 × 275 × 330 mm build volume, an actively heated chamber up to 60 °C and an AC convection heatbed with up to 8 independent tools, each a nozzle with its own filament.
A tool change takes about 12 seconds and wastes about 0.013 g of filament, so large multi-colour and multi-material parts print without a wipe tower. It ships fully assembled, calibrated and tested, with a 1080p night-vision camera in the box.
What makes it different
Big parts, many materials
27 litres of build volume with up to eight materials. A full-size helmet, a large enclosure or a multi-part prop prints in one go, in several colours or materials.
60 °C chamber, AC heatbed
An actively heated chamber and an AC convection heatbed (under 2 °C variation across 99% of the surface) keep large ASA, PC and nylon parts flat.
Induction-heated nozzles
A coil in the moving head heats each nozzle to printing temperature in seconds. Parked tools cool in the dock and don't ooze.
No wipe tower
Each material has its own nozzle, so there is almost nothing to purge. On large prints with hundreds of changes, that saves hours and kilos of filament.
Automatic tool alignment
An offset sensor outside the print area calibrates each tool in about 15 seconds. The load cell in the head checks the bed before every print.
Camera included
A 1080p night-vision camera comes in the box for monitoring long jobs through Prusa Connect. Installing it is optional.
4 or 8 tools
The CORE One L+ INDX ships fully assembled only; there is no kit. 4 tools is enough for most multi-colour work and common material pairs, and the printer has docking slots for an upgrade to 8 tools later. Choose 8 tools if you need complex multi-colour models or switch often between several materials.
Need a smaller machine or a kit? See the Prusa CORE One+ (Gen 2) INDX. Single-nozzle and large-format? See the standard Prusa CORE One L+.

Materials
The stock nozzles handle PLA, PETG, ASA, TPU, PC, PA11 nylon, PVB, BVOH and most other non-abrasive filaments. Each material keeps its own nozzle and temperature, so you can pair PLA with a soluble BVOH support, PETG with TPU, or print several colours of ASA without cross-contamination.
The 60 °C chamber is what makes large engineering parts practical. Big ASA, PC and nylon prints warp badly in cold or passively heated enclosures; here the whole chamber stays at temperature from the first layer to the last.
The surface-hardened nozzles can print filled filaments occasionally (Prusa rates them at about 10 kg of PETG-CF or 5 kg of PC-CF), but they are not designed for long-term abrasive printing.

Questions about the CORE One L+ INDX
What is the build volume of the CORE One L+ INDX?
298 × 275 × 330 mm, or about 27 litres. That is slightly less than the standard CORE One L+ (300 × 300 × 330 mm), because the INDX dock sits inside the chamber, and roughly double the CORE One+ INDX.
How is INDX different from an AMS, the MMU3 or a dual-nozzle printer?
Single-nozzle systems feed several filaments through one hotend, so every change means unloading, loading and purging. On a large print with hundreds of colour changes, that adds hours and a lot of waste. INDX gives every filament its own nozzle, so a change takes about 12 seconds and wastes about 0.013 g. A dual-nozzle printer avoids purging too but stops at two materials. INDX goes to eight.
Is there a kit version?
No. The CORE One L+ INDX is sold fully assembled, calibrated and tested. If you want a kit, the smaller CORE One+ (Gen 2) INDX is available as a kit with 4 or 8 tools.
Should I buy 4 tools or 8, and can I upgrade later?
Four tools cover most multi-colour prints and common material pairs. Eight suit detailed multi-colour models and workshops that switch often between materials. The 4-tool printer has docking slots for all eight tools, so you can upgrade later.
Does it run on a normal wall socket?
Yes. The printer detects whether it is on a 110 V or 230 V supply and configures the AC heatbed automatically. In Spain and the rest of the EU it plugs into a standard socket.
Can it print carbon fibre and other abrasive filaments?
Occasionally. The stock nozzles are surface-hardened nitrocarburized steel, rated by Prusa for about 10 kg of PETG-CF or 5 kg of PC-CF before quality drops. They are not designed for continuous abrasive printing.
