20W vs 40W — Choosing the Right Power
The 20W version handles the majority of craft and small business applications: cutting basswood up to 15mm, acrylic up to 12mm, and engraving leather, cork, fabric, and anodised metals at high speed. For most users, 20W is the practical choice.
The 40W version is built for heavier cutting workloads — basswood up to 25mm, acrylic up to 20mm, and faster throughput on thick materials. Choose 40W if your primary use case is production cutting of thicker stock, or if you need to maximise throughput on batch jobs.

- Cutting: Basswood, plywood, MDF, acrylic, leather, cardboard, paper, fabric, foam, felt
- Engraving: Wood, bamboo, leather, acrylic, anodised aluminium, slate, rubber, cork, coated metals, glass (surface marking)
- Not suitable for: PVC, polycarbonate, or materials containing chlorine — these release toxic gases when laser-cut
Class 1 Enclosure and Filtration
The S1's fully enclosed design achieves Class 1 laser safety certification — meaning the machine does not emit hazardous radiation externally during normal operation. This makes it suitable for offices, studios, classrooms, and shared workspaces where open-frame diode lasers would not be appropriate. The built-in air purification system removes fumes and particles at source, reducing the need for external ventilation ducting.
Passthrough Slots
Front and rear passthrough slots allow material longer than the 498mm work area to be fed through the machine progressively. Useful for cutting or engraving long planks, rolls of leather, and extended fabric pieces that would not fit in a closed work area.

When do you ship?
We ship Monday to Friday from our warehouse in Cantabria, Spain. In-stock orders placed before the cut-off time ship the same business day. Orders placed after the cut-off, or at the weekend, ship on the next business day.

How do you ship?
Parcels — we ship with GLS within mainland Spain & Portugal and with UPS to the rest of the world. Shipping is calculated at checkout from your delivery address, the weight of your order and live carrier rates, so you see the exact price and delivery options before you pay.
Pallet freight — large and heavy machines, such as CO₂ laser cutters and industrial or large-format printers, ship on a pallet by road or, to islands and overseas destinations, by sea. Orders over 40 kg to mainland Spain & Portugal also ship by pallet. The pallet rate for your destination is shown at checkout, and orders over 150 kg ship on two pallets.

Free standard shipping on filament, pellets and accessories:
- Mainland Spain & Portugal: orders over €100 (GLS)
- Other EU countries: orders over €150 (UPS Standard), excluding Malta and Cyprus
Free shipping does not apply to 3D printers, 3D scanners, laser machines or other equipment, or to the Balearic and Canary Islands, Ceuta, Melilla, the Azores and Madeira.

Pallet deliveries
- The carrier will contact you to arrange a delivery day, so please give a phone number that will be answered.
- Delivery is to your address at ground level. The pallet is not carried inside or unpacked, so please make sure you can unload it — with a forklift, a pallet truck or enough people. Machines can weigh 70 - 250 kg.
- If your address has restricted access (no truck access, a narrow street, no loading area) or you need a tail-lift, please contact us before ordering.
- Check the pallet before signing. Note any visible damage on the delivery note and send us photos within 24 hours.
- If a delivery fails because no one is available or the address cannot be accessed, redelivery and storage may be charged.
How about taxes & duties?
EU, including mainland Spain and the Balearic Islands: VAT is included in the price you pay at checkout. Nothing further is due on delivery.
Outside the EU VAT area, including the Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla: all orders ship on DAP (Delivered at Place) terms. We pay for export clearance and transport to your address. Import duties, import taxes (such as VAT, IGIC or IPSI) and customs clearance fees are not included and are paid by the recipient.
- Parcels: UPS will contact you to arrange payment of any duties and taxes before delivery.
- Pallets: the carrier's agent or a customs broker at destination will contact you. You are responsible for import clearance.
If a shipment is refused or not cleared through customs, the return freight and any costs incurred will be deducted from any refund.

Due to EU sanctions, we do not ship to Russia or Belarus.
