Description
The xTool F1 Ultra is a professional-grade portable galvo laser engraver combining a 20W fiber laser and a 20W diode laser in a single compact unit. Where the standard F1 pairs a 10W diode with a 2W IR laser, the F1 Ultra doubles the power on both channels — delivering the fiber laser capability previously reserved for industrial bench-top machines in a 3 kg form factor that runs on USB-C power.

Fiber Laser vs Diode — What Each Does
The 20W fiber laser (1064nm) is the defining upgrade over the standard F1. Fiber lasers interact with metals at a wavelength optimised for metal absorption — marking stainless steel, titanium, brass, copper, gold, silver, and aluminium with deep contrast and high permanence. The 20W fiber laser also performs colour engraving on stainless steel (oxidation-based colour marking), produces deep annealing marks on tool steel, and marks ceramics and hard plastics with precision. At 10,000 mm/s, it processes metal batches at a speed that makes it viable as a production tool, not just a sample machine.
The 20W diode laser (455nm) handles organic materials: wood, leather, acrylic, cork, bamboo, paper, and fabric — the same class of materials the standard F1's diode covers, at higher power for faster throughput and deeper cutting.
Colour Engraving on Stainless Steel
One of the fiber laser's capabilities that has no equivalent in diode engraving is colour marking on stainless steel. By controlling the laser pulse frequency and power precisely, the fiber laser creates a thin oxide layer on the steel surface that produces visible colour — blue, gold, purple, and other tones — without pigments or coatings. The result is permanent, scratch-resistant colour that is used for branded surgical instruments, premium cutlery, architectural fixtures, and luxury goods.
10,000 mm/s — Production-Grade Speed
At 10,000 mm/s, the F1 Ultra processes jobs roughly 2–3× faster than the standard F1 and 10–20× faster than a gantry laser at equivalent quality. For a personalisation business engraving metal items — tags, jewellery, tools, trophies, cutlery — this translates directly to throughput that can sustain commercial production volumes from a desktop machine.

When do you ship?
We ship Monday to Friday from our warehouse in Cantabria, Spain. In-stock orders placed before the cut-off time ship the same business day. Orders placed after the cut-off, or at the weekend, ship on the next business day.

How do you ship?
Parcels — we ship with GLS within mainland Spain & Portugal and with UPS to the rest of the world. Shipping is calculated at checkout from your delivery address, the weight of your order and live carrier rates, so you see the exact price and delivery options before you pay.
Pallet freight — large and heavy machines, such as CO₂ laser cutters and industrial or large-format printers, ship on a pallet by road or, to islands and overseas destinations, by sea. Orders over 40 kg to mainland Spain & Portugal also ship by pallet. The pallet rate for your destination is shown at checkout, and orders over 150 kg ship on two pallets.

Pallet deliveries
- The carrier will contact you to arrange a delivery day, so please give a phone number that will be answered.
- Delivery is to your address at ground level. The pallet is not carried inside or unpacked, so please make sure you can unload it — with a forklift, a pallet truck or enough people. Machines can weigh 70 - 250 kg.
- If your address has restricted access (no truck access, a narrow street, no loading area) or you need a tail-lift, please contact us before ordering.
- Check the pallet before signing. Note any visible damage on the delivery note and send us photos within 24 hours.
- If a delivery fails because no one is available or the address cannot be accessed, redelivery and storage may be charged.
How about taxes & duties?
EU, including mainland Spain and the Balearic Islands: VAT is included in the price you pay at checkout. Nothing further is due on delivery.
Outside the EU VAT area, including the Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla: all orders ship on DAP (Delivered at Place) terms. We pay for export clearance and transport to your address. Import duties, import taxes (such as VAT, IGIC or IPSI) and customs clearance fees are not included and are paid by the recipient.
- Parcels: UPS will contact you to arrange payment of any duties and taxes before delivery.
- Pallets: the carrier's agent or a customs broker at destination will contact you. You are responsible for import clearance.
If a shipment is refused or not cleared through customs, the return freight and any costs incurred will be deducted from any refund.
