Description
The xTool OR1 is the rotary attachment for the xTool O1 Omni Printer, adding direct UV printing on mugs, tumblers, tapered cups, beverage cans, spherical ornaments and other curved objects. A jaw chuck grips the inside of the cup and angle-controlled 360° rotation prints a seamless full wrap without manual circumference measuring, while the O1's Pixel-Scan™ vision builds a 1:1 3D preview.
Key Specifications
| Compatible printer | xTool O1 Omni Printer only |
| Cup opening (jaw chuck) | 46.5–100 mm inner diameter |
| Auto-levelling taper range | -8° to +12° |
| Print-area height variation | Up to 1 mm on cylindrical/tapered cups; up to 3 mm on spheres and irregular shapes |
| Rotation | Angle-controlled 360° for seamless full-wrap prints |
| Effects | Up to 5 mm texture, 5 mm raised relief, fluorescent effects |
| Mounting | Magnetic connection to the O1 extension base |
How It Works
Press Start/Stop on the O1 to eject the extension base and set OR1 on it; the magnetic connection locks it in place. Mugs and cups are held by expanding the jaw chuck against the inner wall, while cans and spheres are clamped between the front jaws and the sliding tail module. Pixel-Scan™ and CIS imaging capture the shape, detect handles and mark no-print zones to avoid printhead collisions, and the software auto-levels tapered profiles. A first-use axis calibration is done from the software using four calibration dots on the rotary.
Good to Know
Glass, ceramic and stainless steel need a primer wipe before printing for lasting adhesion (a primer wipe for glass and ceramic is included; the metal primer is sold separately). UV ink must not touch lips, drinks or food, so print only on outer, non-contact surfaces and wash printed items by hand. Objects that cannot be clamped and rotated stably, such as rolling pins, solid candles or multi-handle cups, are not suitable.
Compatibility
Designed exclusively for the xTool O1 Omni Printer (Single UV, Dual-Head UV and UV + Fabric editions). It is not compatible with other printers or with xTool lasers.
