Row of orange and black 3D printers for Eolas Prints PLA and PETG filament.

Eolas Prints filament profiles are built into PrusaSlicer. Open the Configuration Wizard, go to the Filaments tab, find "Eolas Prints" under Vendor, tick the materials you want, click Finish — then select the filament from the drop-down and print. Full walkthrough below.

We have made it simple and easy to print our materials on your 3D printer by adding printing profiles to one of the most commonly used slicers — PrusaSlicer from Prusa Research. In this post we are going to see how we can download these print profiles for PrusaSlicer.

When PrusaSlicer is launched, get into the "Wizard" configuration menu. If it's the first time running the application, this menu will appear immediately. Alternatively, you can access this menu from the menu bar found under "Configuration".

PrusaSlicer Configuration Wizard

Locate the filaments tab and click on it. Doing so will bring up a long selection of materials. In the "Vendor" column, search for Eolas Prints, and then in the adjacent column (Profile) select the material needed.

Confirm with the "Finish" button and the materials will be added. Now you just have to select it in the drop-down menu of the "Filament" section and start the printer.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I add Eolas Prints profiles in PrusaSlicer?

Open the Configuration Wizard (it appears on first launch, or via the Configuration menu), go to the Filaments tab, find Eolas Prints in the Vendor column, select the materials you want, and click Finish. They then appear in the Filament drop-down.

Do the profiles work on any printer in PrusaSlicer?

The filament profiles can be used across the printers PrusaSlicer supports. For a printer or nozzle that differs from the profile's assumptions, treat the profile as a strong starting point and fine-tune with a temperature tower and flow test.

I don't see Eolas Prints in the Vendor list — what do I do?

Make sure PrusaSlicer is updated to a recent version and re-run the Configuration Wizard, which refreshes the bundled vendor profiles. If it still doesn't appear, update the filament profiles from the Configuration menu and restart the application.

Should I still calibrate after loading a profile?

The profile gets you most of the way there. For the cleanest results on your machine, run a quick temperature and flow calibration — see our troubleshooting & calibration hub.
