Antibacterial Filament

Antibacterial 3D printing filament builds hygiene into the part itself. Our Antibacterial PLA integrates ISO-certified silver-ion antimicrobial technology directly into the polymer matrix, so printed surfaces stay more hygienic for the life of the part — not as a coating that wears off, but as a property of the material throughout.

This makes it ideal for frequently handled and hygiene-sensitive items: door handles, push plates, switches and grab rails; healthcare and clinical environment components; kitchen and food-preparation aids; children's toys and educational models; and public-facing fixtures in hospitality and retail. The antimicrobial performance is certified to ISO 22196:2011, the international standard test method for antibacterial activity on plastic surfaces, giving over 99.9% greater surface hygiene than standard PLA.

Manufactured in Spain at Eolas Prints under ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards, our antibacterial filament pairs certified performance with a clean matte finish. For any project where hygiene matters, it is a simple, durable upgrade over conventional filament.
