Choosing by Technology

The laser technology determines what the machine can process. Diode lasers (450nm) engrave and cut wood, leather, acrylic, and fabric — they are the versatile entry point and the right choice for organic material work. CO2 lasers (10,600nm) cut thick wood and acrylic with efficiency that diode lasers cannot match — they are the standard for sign making, furniture, and model making. Fiber and IR lasers (1064nm) mark bare metal — stainless steel, aluminium, brass, gold — that diode and CO2 lasers cannot process. UV lasers (355nm) use cold processing to engrave inside glass and crystal in 3D, and to mark heat-sensitive materials cleanly.
