3D Scanners
Eolas Prints is an official 3DMakerPro distributor, offering the complete range of handheld 3D scanners for makers, engineers, designers, and businesses. Our scanner range spans from precision small-object scanners at 0.01mm accuracy through to large-format scanners covering objects up to 3 metres — all using structured light or near-infrared technology that works on dark and reflective surfaces without spray coating.
Choosing the Right Scanner
Scanner selection depends on the size of the objects you need to digitise and the accuracy your application requires. The Seal (0.01mm, 10–300mm) and Seal Lite (0.05mm, 10–300mm) are the correct tools for jewellery, dental models, and small precision parts. The Toucan (0.05mm, 100–550mm) covers medium objects including shoes, mechanical assemblies, and product casings. The Lynx (0.10mm, 250mm–2m) is the most broadly applicable scanner for general product design, reverse engineering, and prototype capture. The Moose (0.07mm, 200mm–2m) and Moose Lite (0.10mm, 200mm–2m) handle large objects including automotive parts, furniture, and industrial components. The Whale (0.20mm, 500mm–3m) covers ultra-large objects including full vehicles, large machinery, and architectural elements.
Applications
- Reverse engineering: Capture existing parts for reproduction, modification, or CAD comparison
- Quality inspection: Dimensional comparison of manufactured parts against CAD references
- 3D printing preparation: Digitise physical objects for printing, scaling, or modification
- Jewellery and dental: High-precision capture of small objects for CAD/CAM workflows
- Automotive and industrial: Large-format scanning of vehicles, machinery, and tooling
- Education: Hands-on 3D scanning for design and engineering courses
Software and Export
All scanners include JMStudio software for real-time scan processing, alignment, hole filling, and export to OBJ, STL, PLY, and ASC. Files integrate directly with Fusion 360, SolidWorks, Blender, and all major 3D printing slicers. Eolas Prints provides training and technical support for 3DMakerPro scanners across Europe.
