Tips for printing Eolas Prints filaments with ElegooSlicer
- Calibrate once per material: run the flow rate and pressure advance tests from the Calibration menu – the steps in our OrcaSlicer calibration guide work the same way in ElegooSlicer.
- Centauri Carbon: its enclosure suits Eolas ABS and ASA. For PLA, open the lid or top vent to keep the chamber cool.
- Multi-colour (Canvas): all Eolas Prints 1.75 mm filaments ship on plastic spools. Feed flexible TPU 93A and D53 directly rather than through a multi-colour unit.
- Save your tweaks: if you change a setting, save it as your own preset so ElegooSlicer updates never overwrite it.
Other slicers
The same Eolas Prints profiles are built into OrcaSlicer and PrusaSlicer, and available as free downloads for Bambu Studio and Orca-Flashforge (Flash Studio).
Frequently asked questions
Does ElegooSlicer have Eolas Prints filament profiles?
Yes. All 18 Eolas Prints filaments have profiles in ElegooSlicer’s built-in filament library, under the vendor Eolas Prints, from ElegooSlicer 1.5.0.6 onwards.
Do I need to download anything?
No. The profiles install with ElegooSlicer. Open Set filaments to use in the Prepare tab, filter by Eolas Prints and tick the materials you need.
Which ElegooSlicer version do I need?
ElegooSlicer 1.5.0.6 or newer. We recommend the latest release, as profile improvements ship with each update.
Do the profiles work on the Elegoo Centauri Carbon?
Yes. They work on the Centauri Carbon and Centauri Carbon 2, the Centauri series, the Neptune 4 and 3 series and the OrangeStorm Giga, as well as other brands in ElegooSlicer.
Are the ElegooSlicer profiles the same as in OrcaSlicer?
Yes. ElegooSlicer is based on OrcaSlicer and ships the same Eolas Prints profiles with identical print settings.
Can I print Eolas ABS and ASA on the Centauri Carbon?
Yes. The Centauri Carbon is enclosed, which helps ABS and ASA avoid warping. Use the Eolas Prints ABS or ASA profile and keep the lid closed.
Should I still calibrate after loading a profile?
The profile gets you most of the way. For the cleanest results, run a quick flow rate and pressure advance calibration on your machine.
